Recent news has come about that J.J. Abrams and his Bad Robot Production company (LOST, Cloverfield, the recent Star Trek movie) will be co-producing an animated film about Samurai jack with Hanna-Barbera.The film will be 2-D animation mixed with CG and be in stereoscopic 3-D to boot! Can't wait to see the result of those efforts! Disney is also reportedly doing a stereoscopic 3-D transfer of their famously animated Beauty and the Beast. Robert Zemekis is also trying to do the same with his upcoming Roger Rabbit movie. Can 2-D animation also work in stereoscopic 3-D? Guess we'll have plenty of chances to find out!
