For those who haven't yet heard, comic artist Michael Turner passed away last night in Chicago. Mike was 37. He's most famous for his work on Witchblade and Fathom. I can't say that I knew Mike very well, but our paths crossed many times over the years. He's bought books from us, and we've bought books from him. We last saw him in August at the Fan Expo in Toronto. At that time, he was a model of positive thinking; friendly and all smiles. In a few weeks we are headed to San Diego comic-con where we were expecting to see Mike and the Aspen Crew. It definately won't be the same without him.
