This is a Charity / Art Exhibit event.
For fun / exposure/ and a good cause.
Anyone submitting work has the option to sell or keep their work.
All proceeds go to charity (unless mugg is purchased from the labyrinth– in which case cost of original mugg would be reimbursed).
All unsold work will be returned to the artist.
There will be a viewer favourite chosen (by the pocket change/votes in boxes beside each mugg).

If you've thought about entering our upcoming art show, now is the time to stop thinking and start doing.
Blank Figures are gone, but we encourage you to pick up a regular figure and paint over top of it. Once you're done, no one will know the difference. Plus some of these figures are cheaper than blank ones. In order to reserve blank figures longer, I used an existing figure and its turning out great.
The best paint to use is water based Guache paint. (An airbrush would look awesome if you have one.) if you're using an existing figure, no priming is needed. A bit of varnish at the end will help make the figure nice and shiny if that's what you want.
You can paint any design you wish. Use an existing character from pop culture, or create an original design out of your head.

out of town artists:
we gladly will accept submissions from out of town artists, but please note, as this is a charity event (not for profit) we will not be able to ship back your figures for those that want them back, unless you pay for shipping. Again, we would rather give money to the charity, then spend it on shipping. As an individual artist it might be worth while for you to contribute.
out of town artists, that would like their work seen on our site, but not be part of the official show, may email us a jpeg of their figure, along with a link to their website/blog/flicker account where viewers can learn more about them.
Deadline for out of town artists, mailing in figures is Friday August 7th. Please be sure to include your name/address/phone on a sticker on the bottom of the foot of the character.
use post office shipping, not UPS or other parcel service as they charge customs/broker fees -which would be better off going to charity. You are responsible for any damage due to shipping of your figures, so pack carefully. please email us BEFORE you ship out any figures. thanks.
